A collection of woven textiles for the home textiles market. The collection is inspired by the origin of pearls and includes one reverse engineered fabric and two new coordinates and two colorways.
Original Fabric & Colorways
Analyzed the fabric down to its fundmental structures and how it would be woven, including the arrangment of warp & weft yarns, the design repeat, and the loom requirements to construct this fabric. Two additional colorways were developed, including a warmer, golden colorway and a cooler, glimmering colorway.
Coordinate 1 & Colorways
Coordinate 1 is a diagonal design that resembles droplets of pearls. A similar set of colorways were developed throughout the collection for coherency.
Coordinate 2 & Colorways
Coordinate 2 is a design with plankton-like patches that create intrigue through raised surfaces and contrasting stripes. A similar set of colorways were developed throughout the collection for coherency.
