On a 4-harness floor loom, I create a salt & pepper warp using black and white warp yarns. From there I played with variations of plain weave, basket weave, rib weave & twill structures while utilizing fabric scraps found at the Textile Arts Center.
The resulting woven structure is a manifestation of play and whimsy that incorporates randomness of inserting scraps.
